The FRITZ!Box as the smart home hub
With FRITZ! devices, networking the smart home is easy and convenient. The FRITZ!Box acts as a centra access point so you do not need a cloud – all of your data stays securely within your local network.
The FRITZ!OS update version 7.50 already added numerous scenes and routines to the FRITZ! Smart Home, and the brand-new FRITZ!OS 8 offers additional configuration options. You can use the ‘if ... then’ statement to automatically control devices and scenes. For example, the ‘Coming Home’ scene turns on all LED lights, smart plugs, as well as the Wi-Fi and guest Wi-Fi network at the same time while you listen to the messages on your answering machine.
