FRITZ! at the Broadband Forum in Milan

From June 1 to 5, FRITZ! attended the Broadband Forum Summer Member Meeting and the BASe Summit 2026 in Milan, Italy.

Our team spoke extensively with many members of the international internet community about standards and their application.As an active player in the telecom sector, these meetings gave us the opportunity to help define the network standards of tomorrow.

Our key contributions:

• Shaping open standards: Through active participation in the working groups, we ensure that FRITZ! products remain fully compatible with future global networking technologies. This is where the foundation is laid, for example, for TR-369 (USP) and the associated TR-181 data models.
• Focus on smart networks: Our focus was on the shift from pure connectivity to network intelligence. Examples are the evolution of fiber optics (PON), AI-driven networks and home network optimization: domains where FRITZ! is leading the way.
• Strategic networking: The meetings offered the perfect opportunity to engage directly with operators and technology partners.
