FRITZ! at ANGA COM 2026

At this year's ANGA COM in Cologne, FRITZ! presented its product highlights for cable, fiber optics, 5G, and Mesh Wi-Fi. These included the soon-to-be-available FRITZ!Box 6690 Pro, the new top model for cable connections featuring tri-band Wi-Fi 7 and wireless transmission rates of up to 11 Gbit/s. Rounding out the high-end portfolio was the new FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro featuring quad-band capabilities and a 10-Gigabit LAN port. Also new are the FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS with Wi-Fi 7 and a 10G LAN port for multi-gigabit connections via fiber optics plus the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G for high-speed 5G surfing with convenient USB-C power supply. Alongside themed panel discussions at the Congress Center, the stand featured live demonstrations of internet failover protection (FRITZ! Failsafe) and real-time Wi-Fi management via the TR-369 interface.

A FRITZ! portfolio for demanding users

With the launch of the FRITZ!Box 6690 Pro and the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro this year, FRITZ! will be expanding its product range for high-performance home networking, with 6 GHz Wi-Fi band support across all Pro models. By default, the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro for DSL and fiber optic connections and the FRITZ!Box 6690 Pro for cable connections support the 6-GHz band. Combined with the new FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro , enjoy seamless high-performance gaming, remote working, and livestreaming – even with a large number of smart home devices connected.

Everything you need for fiber, 10G and Wi-Fi Mesh

With the launch of the FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS and FRITZ!Box 5630 , two new routers will be joining the lineup of Wi-Fi 7 routers, including FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro and 5690 XGS, for use with all European fiber technologies AON, GPON, and XGS-PON. FRITZ! is the first choice for European network operators and users whenever fast fiber optic connections are concerned. The new, compact FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS provides internet speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s thanks to its integrated XGS-PON modem. It also features powerful Wi-Fi 7 with up to 3.5 Gbit/s for fast and stable Wi-Fi as well as multi-gigabit ports: One 10-Gbit/s WAN/LAN port as well as three gigabit LAN ports each ensure optimal distribution of data to cabled network devices. Easy operation with FRITZ!Apps and comprehensive functions like VPN, smart home integration, and telephony offer additional convenience.

Stay safe online on holiday and at home

Whether for at home or on the go – the comprehensive mobile network portfolio including the FRITZ!Box 6825 4G , FRITZ!Box 6850 5G , FRITZ!Box 6860 5G , and the new FRITZ!Box 6835 5G , always offers FRITZ! users the perfect option for their mobile internet connection. The compact FRITZ!Box 6835 5G supports eSIM, features Wi-Fi 7 with a dual-band 2x2 antenna configuration, and offers data rates of up to 3.5 Gbit/s via Wi-Fi. This FRITZ!Box and all other mobile network routers from FRITZ! can also be used for failover protection with another FRITZ!Box via FRITZ! Failsafe if the fiber optic, DSL, or cable connection fails. This feature was demonstrated live at the stand. There were also live demonstrations of improved Wi-Fi management on the basis of USP (User Services Platform). This allows network providers to help their customers optimize their Wi-Fi networks using the TR-369 interface on a FRITZ!Box.

  • Supports Mesh Wi-Fi
  • Quad-band Wi-Fi 7: 2 x 2 on 6 GHz, 4 x 4 on 5 GHz, 4 x 4 on 5 GHz, and 2 x 2 on 2.4 GHz (2 radio units on 5 GHz)
  • Wi‑Fi speed: 6 GHz: 5760 Mbit/s; 5 GHz: 5760 Mbit/s; 5 GHz: 5760 Mbit/s; 2.4 GHz: 688 Mbit/s; total data rate up to 18 Gbit/s
